Authorities are responding to a large fire at a recycling plant on Salvador Hinojosa Street in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, near the highway to Zapotlanejo, late Dec. 19. The cause of the blaze is unclear. There have been no immediate reports of casualties. Emergency crews are evacuating residents around the impacted site.

Heightened security, as well as localized business and transport disruptions, are likely over the coming hours as emergency response and investigations continue.
