Spain: Unionized prison workers to march in Madrid April 11

Labor union TAMPM plans to protest and march in Madrid on April 11. Unionized prison workers will reportedly gather in La Castellana Street, near the Ministry of Labor, from 10:30. Participants will march towards the Ministry of Interior, the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions, and end the march at the Congress of Deputies at 13:30. Demonstrators will likely remain in the march ending site through the afternoon of April 11. Participants will demand better working conditions, security, and an increase in personnel. Several thousand people are likely to participate.
