Rail traffic will remain suspended on the Lyon-Givor line until at least May 4 after a landslide forced a passenger train to derail in Grigny; the incident occurred shortly after 19:00 on April 28. At least 200 passengers were on the train at the time of the incident. Some passengers were reportedly treated for minor injuries.

Rail disruptions, including diversions, are ongoing on the impacted line. Increased security will likely continue until authorities have cleared and repaired the impacted section of the track.

Check train status if scheduled to travel on the impacted line over the coming days. Heed all authorities' instructions. Seek alternative transport to travel through the impacted area.
