Authorities have extinguished a fire at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris as of late afternoon July 31. The fire, which reportedly engulfed a bus on Rue de New York, resulted in heavy smoke that could be seen from the airport. Authorities reportedly rapidly brought the fire under control, and smoke from the blaze appears to have ceased. It was not immediately clear if any injuries had occurred as a result of the fire.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are possible near the site of the extinguished fire. Flight services at CDG are reportedly unaffected.
