Libya's state-owned airline, Libyan Airlines, announced an indefinite suspension of all flights between Tripoli International Airport (TIP) and Khartoum International Airport (KRT) as of Monday, November 6, due to technical concerns. According to reports, KRT was unable to accommodate the airline's flight schedules.

Context

Libyan Airlines resumed service to Sudan in November 2016 after a six-year suspension. The airline had ceased operations due to security concerns. Libyan Airlines currently only flies internationally to Alexandria (Egypt), Amman (Jordan), Istanbul (Turkey), and Tunis (Tunisia).
