Italy: Baggage claim strikes at multiple airports April 13
Baggage claim unions to strike at airports in Milan, Florence, and Pisa on April 13; significant disruptions to airport operations, including likely flight delays, cancelations

Baggage handling staff will be on strike at Milan’s Malpensa (MXP) and Linate (LIN) international airports as well as Pisa’s Galileo Galilei (PSA) and Florence’s Peretola (FLR) international airports on Friday, April 13. Strikes will affect MXP and LIN for the entire day, while PSA and FLR will be affected from 13:00 to 17:00 (local time). Flight disruptions (delays, cancelations) and significant waiting times at baggage claim/drop-off points are likely, with the exception of flights destined for or originating from Alghero-Fertilia International Airport (AHO).
