Netherlands: Possible car-ramming attack in Bemmel Aug. 22

A man was killed when he drove his car into the Bemmel town hall around 02:00 (local time) on Wednesday, August 22. Police reportedly found two gas canisters in the vehicle, one of which had exploded during the crash. No one else was killed or injured but the explosion caused significant damage to the building. The crash appears to have been intentional but the motive remains unclear.
