Morocco: Education sector strike March 4-6

Professors represented by the CDT, UGMT, FDT, UMT, and FNE trade unions launched a three-day strike on Monday, March 4. The strike was announced following the breakdown of negotiations between union representatives and government officials. Associated protests are possible at popular gathering points and outside government offices in Morocco. A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected near any potential demonstrations.
