Former Lebanese soldiers are protesting in Beirut as of Friday, May 10, to denounce possible alteration of current pension agreements. A group of protestors gathered at Riad al-Solh square and are reportedly blocking nearby roads with burning tyres. Another group gathered in Jdeidet Marjeyoun (Southern Lebanon).

Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are expected within the vicinity of all demonstration sites.
