On Monday, June 24, the Embassy of Cameroon to the Swiss Confederation warned that Cameroonian nationals residing in different European countries plan to launch a protest in front of the Intercontinental hotel in Geneva on Saturday, June 29, amid President Paul Biya's visit in Switzerland. The Embassy further warned that increased security measures will be implemented. Skirmishes with Biya's personal guards are possible.

Context

On June 25, Cameroonian protesters erupted in the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva and clashed with the President's guards.
