Ecuador: Road closures in Quito due to cultural events August 8-11

Event

Quito's historic center will be closed to vehicular traffic between Thursday, August 8, and Sunday, August 11. The closures will be in effect as of 18:00 (local time) on August 8. Cultural events and celebrations for Independence Day on Saturday, August 10, should be expected.

Associated localized transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are expected in the vicinity of all events.
