Former President Kocharyan, who was arrested in December 2018, is facing charges of "overthrowing the constitutional order of Armenia" and bribery during his term as president. Kocharyan is also accused of being complicit in the deaths of ten people during post-election demonstrations in 2008. А court in Yerevan denied bail for Kocharian on November 7.
