Indigenous groups to hold “Mobilization for Life” on November 8; transportation disruptions expected

Indigenous groups have scheduled a nationwide march called "Mobilization for Life" on Friday, November 8. The movement is scheduled following the murder of five members of their community by armed groups in the Cauca department. Protests are to be expected across the country, including Bogota, throughout Cauca, and other indigenous areas.

Associated transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are to be expected at all protests and marches.
