Afghanistan: Gunmen take hostages during attack in Kabul March 25 /update 1

According to the Ministry of Interior, the attackers have taken an estimated 40 people hostage in Dharamshala along Shor Bazar Road. Security forces are currently clearing the area and gunfire and explosions have been reported. Some casualties have been reported and emergency personnel are on the scene. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack and the Taliban have issued a statement denying involvement in the incident.
