Iraq: Reports of armed attack on US military logistics convoy near Diwaniyah (Al-Qadisiyyah province) July 11

According to emerging reports at 22:00 (local time) on Saturday, July 11, a suspected remote-controlled VBIED targeted at least three US military logistics vehicles near Diwaniyah (Al-Qadisiyyah province). The convoy was reportedly traveling between the cities of Diwaniyah and Samawah (Muthanna province). Media imagery suggests that the vehicles caught fire following the attack. It is not immediately clear who was responsible for the attack or if any casualties were incurred.
