An explosion on a pipeline near a mosque in the Fatulla area of Narayanganj on Friday, September 4, resulted in the injury of at least 37 people. According to local police officials, the blast occurred as people were finishing their prayers at Baitus Salat Jame Mosque. Most of the injured were sent to a burn unit at a state-run hospital in nearby Dhaka, many in critical condition. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
