Mexico: Tropical Storm Julio downgrades to depression and moves away from Mexican coast September 7 /update 1

Event

Tropical Storm Julio has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression and is moving rapidly into the Pacific and away from the eastern Mexican coast as of Monday, September 7. Julio formed as a Tropical Storm on Saturday, September 5, off the southeastern coast of Mexico, around 265 km (165 mi) south of the city of Manzanillo (Colima state). Julio sustained maximum winds of around 55 kph (35 mph) and remained offshore.
