Explosion in Police District 15 of Kabul, Afghanistan, the morning of Feb. 3, kills one security officer, wounds three others.
Event
An improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a security vehicle exploded in the Tangi Tarakhel area of Police District (PD) 15, Kabul, the morning of Feb. 3. The incident killed at least one security officer and injured at least three others. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Heightened security and road closures may continue near the blast site for investigations in the coming hours.
