Authorities in Kyrgyzstan are maintaining COVID-19-related restrictions as of Aug. 31.
Travel Restrictions
All international arrivals entering by air must produce proof of full vaccination or a negative result from COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. Diplomats, international transport crews, freight drivers, and infants are exempt from this requirement.
Domestic Measures
Domestic inter-regional transport services, including flights between Bishkek and Osh, are operating, though may have reduced services. Passengers could need to undergo health screenings before boarding. Most businesses are operating subject to social distancing requirements.
Authorities continue to advise against nonessential travel, and all persons leaving their accommodations must carry a contact-tracing form. Public gatherings are prohibited. Facemasks are mandatory on public transport and on some business premises.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
