Cote d'Ivoire: Heavy rain and flooding impacts Abidjan in early November

Heavy rainfall and flooding impacted Abidjan, Nov. 8. At least five people were injured following flash flooding. The Cocody (Riviera) and Yopougon districts have been worst-affected. Damage to infrastructure has been reported, with some roads becoming impassable in the affected districts.

Heavy rain is likely to persist until the end of November, when the rainy season is forecast to end. Ground travel delays are likely in recently affected areas in the coming days.
