Activists plan to protest outside the Military Tribunal Court in Beirut from 12:30 Nov. 23 to demand justice for victims of the 2021 sectarian clashes. The clashes, which broke out Oct. 14 in the Tayouneh neighborhood of Beirut, left seven people dead and more than 30 others wounded. Dozens to hundreds of individuals could attend the demonstration.

Authorities will almost certainly increase security to monitor the protest. Localized transport disruptions are likely near the Military Tribunal Court through the afternoon of Nov. 23. Clashes between police and protesters are possible, particularly if demonstrators are overly disruptive or if they ignore police orders to disperse.
