Authorities in Saint Kitts and Nevis have extended nationwide COVID-19-related restrictions until at least Nov. 18.

Domestic Restrictions

  • A nationwide 01:01-05:00 curfew remains in effect. During curfew hours, all persons except for essential workers and those attending to medical emergencies must remain at home.

  • Elderly and immuno-compromised people are advised to work remotely.

  • Mass gatherings and private parties are banned. Restaurants and carryout food services may operate.

  • Buses, taxis, and passenger ferries may operate at full capacity.

  • Most nonessential businesses are operating, with hygiene, social distancing, and capacity limit protocols in effect.

  • Facemasks must be worn in all indoor and outdoor public settings.

International Travel Restrictions
All incoming travelers, including those arriving by private vessel, must:

  • Present a negative result from a COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before travel. Passengers arriving on cruise ships who are vaccinated may opt to take an antigen test instead.

  • Complete a health entry form before departure; the form must be submitted no later than 24 hours before travel.

  • Submit a copy of a COVID-19 vaccination record; citizens and residents of Saint Kitts and Nevis are exempt from this requirement.

  • For those arriving at airports, undergo a health screening that includes a temperature check and a health questionnaire; travelers presenting symptoms of COVID-19 may be required to take an additional PCR test.

  • All travelers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must remain in their hotel or a quarantine facility for at least 24 hours and will be allowed to leave quarantine upon receiving negative results from an RT-PCR test.

  • Unvaccinated travelers must remain in a government quarantine facility for 14 days; unvaccinated minors who are accompanied by their fully vaccinated parents must only remain in quarantine as long as their parents do.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
