Student activists are protesting in Mbabane as of the morning Feb. 4. Participants gathered at 09:00 at the High Court of Eswatini for activist Colani Maseko's bail application hearing. Participants will possibly remain in the vicinity of the court and protest after the hearing.

Police are likely to maintain a heightened security presence in the vicinity of the court Feb. 4 resulting in localized disruptions. Violence cannot be discounted as previous politically motivated protests have degenerated into clashes.
