Kyrgyzstan: Planned water outage to occur in parts of Bishkek, March 10

Officials in Bishkek will discontinue water supply in several city areas, including Enesai, Dordoi-1, and Dordoi-2, through 20:00 March 10. The cut in services has been planned for maintenance operations.

Some business disruptions are possible in the affected areas, especially at companies that rely heavily on municipal water to maintain operations. Residents may experience lingering disruptions, such as low-pressure supply, through the morning of March 11.

Advice

Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes. Pressure and quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Minimize nonessential water use throughout the outage.
