Activists plan to launch protests in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, and Rosario May 7 to demand the legalization of marijuana. In Buenos Aires, protesters will gather at Plaza de Mayo from 15:00 and march towards Congress. Protesters in Rosario will gather at Plaza San Martin from 14:00 and march towards the National Flag Memorial (Monumento Historico Nacional a la Bandera). For Cordoba, activists aim to gather at Plaza de La Intendencia at 16:00 and march to Patio Olmos.

While the action is likely to be largely peaceful, there will probably be an increased police presence near the protests. Clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out, especially if security forces attempt to forcibly disperse crowds.
