India: New Delhi to host drone festival May 27-28

India will host the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 festival at the Pragati Maidan exhibition center in New Delhi May 27-28. As many as 1,600 delegates, including senior government officials, foreign diplomats, and military personnel, will attend the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the festival May 27.

Authorities will almost certainly tighten security for the event. Police could implement road closures and temporary checkpoints, causing localized ground transport disruptions. Business disruptions are also possible near Pragati Maidan, especially May 27.
