Workers from the Federation of Indonesian Metal Workers Union (FSPMI) plan to protest outside the State Electricity Company (PLN) headquarters in Jakarta Feb. 14. Participants intend to denounce wage reductions and poor work conditions, among other issues. Organizers have yet to specify a start time for the action. The union has also threatened to protest at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises if their demands are not met. Dozens to hundreds of people could join the demonstration.
