Transport operators and local meteorological authorities are warning of widespread disruptions caused by strong winds, Feb. 17-18, as Storm Otto moves across central Scandinavia. Northern Denmark, southern Norway and western Sweden will likely be most affected. Ferry services and trains will be subject to short-notice delays and cancelations. Road bridges may also close for light or high-sided vehicles. Finnish authorities have also warned of travel disruptions.
