Bulgaria: Activists to rally in Sofia, Sept. 13

Activists plan to rally at the Supreme Administrative Court of Bulgaria in Sofia from 08:45 Sept. 13 to express support for singer Milena Slavova. Slavova will report to the court on Sept. 13 to face a lawsuit regarding comments critical of the Bulgarian LGBTQ community. It is unclear how many participants may attend.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely. Low-level confrontations between participants and police or counterprotestors cannot be ruled out.
