Lingering disruptions are possible after armed clashes between security forces and criminal suspects injured six people in Rio de Janeiro's West Zone early March 7. Security forces have arrested at least nine suspects believed to be members of a local criminal group. The incident occurred in the Campo Grande area, near the Engenheiro Oscar de Brito viaduct, and caused the temporary closure of a section of Avenida Brasil.
