Germany: Unionized educators to strike, demonstrate in Berlin June 20

Unionized educators, school psychologists, and school social workers affiliated with the Gewerkschaft Erziehung und Wissenschaft (GEW) union plan to strike and protest in Berlin on June 20. The purpose of the labor action is to demand improved smaller class sizes and improved guarantees related to personnel support. Participants will conduct a protest march from Oranienplatz to the Berlin State Parliament 10:00-13:00. It was not immediately clear how many participants may attend the march.
