Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely along the march route. Additional picket protests are possible at educational facilities and government offices across the city. Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near any demonstrations that materialize. The strike action could also result in some employee absenteeism.

Avoid the protest march area as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling near the planned march path. Plan accordingly for increased absenteeism among employees who are parents or guardians of school-aged children on May 24; consider a liberal leave or telecommuting policy, where possible. Strictly heed all instructions from authorities.
