Activists protesting at Pankow Town Hall in Berlin, Germany, as of afternoon July 15. Heightened security, transport disruptions reported.
Activists are protesting near Pankow Town Hall (Rathaus Pankow) on Breite Strasse in Berlin as of the afternoon of July 15. The M1 tram is not running between Pankow Kirche and Rosenthal-Nord in order to avoid the demonstration. The purpose of the demonstration is to denounce cuts to social services and youth programs. It was not immediately clear how many participants were in attendance.
Heightened security and transport disruptions are reported near the protest site and will likely continue through the evening.
