Taiwan: Water outages planned in parts of Taoyuan City from 08:00 Aug. 12
Planned water outages to occur in parts of Taoyuan City, Taiwan, from 08:00 Aug. 12. Commercial disruptions possible.
Due to installation works, planned water outages will occur in parts of Taoyuan from 08:00 Aug. 12. Utility provider Taiwan Water Corporation has announced disruptions in the following districts:
Bade, Taoyuan districts: 08:00-23:00 Aug. 12
Dayuan District: 08:00 Aug. 12-02:00 Aug. 13
Guishan, Luzhu districts: 08:00 Aug. 12-07:00 Aug. 13
Authorities are providing water tankers in Guishan and Luzhu districts from 08:00 Aug. 12. Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water to maintain operations.
Conserve water. Stock up on drinking water in advance. Confirm alternative water supplies for business operations. Water pressure and quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes.
