Train delays and cancellations are likely to affect the Northern rail network in North West region Sept. 8 due to train crew shortage. Northern Railway has advised the public to avoid travel on routes between Machester Victoria and Stalybridge, Machester Victoria and Chester, Manchester Piccadilly and Chester, Manchester Piccadilly and Stoke, as well as between Liverpool Lime Street and Blackpool North.

Further cancellations and delays are likely through Sept. 8 on the affected line.
