Amsterdam police have announced that a suspected gunman has been neutralized following a shooting near the Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch Central Bank) in downtown Amsterdam at approximately 19:15 (local time) on Wednesday, February 6. According to officials, police officers shot and killed a gunman after he approached them brandishing a firearm. One bystander was reportedly wounded in the shooting.
