Ecuador: Visa requirements introduced for Venezuelan citizens July 25

President Lenín Moreno announced on Thursday, July 25, that Ecuador will introduce entry visa requirements for citizens of Venezuela. Venezuelan nationals were previously permitted to enter Ecuador solely with a passport or other form of identification. The move comes amid a surge in immigration from Venezuela due to the ongoing political and economic crisis in the country.
