Mexico: Protesters to gather in Mexico City on September 19

Anti-government demonstrators are planning to gather in Mexico City on Saturday, September 19, to demand the resignation of President Andres Manuel Obrador. The protest is organized by the National Citizen Front group who have called for participants to gather at 09:00 (local time) at Monumento a la Revolucion before marching towards Plaza de la Constitucion.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest sites.
