Officials confirmed that explosions in Kabul the morning of Feb. 10 resulted in at least two fatalities and five injuries. Explosions targeting government vehicles near the Quwai Markaz and Karte Parwan areas of Police District (PD) 2 wounded at least four people. A third blast near the Baraki roundabout of PD 4 killed at least two people and injured one person. The official casualty count could rise. Reports indicate improvised explosive devices (IED) caused the explosions. No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely in the coming hours as investigations continue.
