Various activists plan to hold a vehicular protest in Zacatecas Feb. 26 to denounce the fatal criminal attack on a local doctor Feb. 22. The event will begin at Palacio de Convenciones at 1530; participants will probably then proceed along Calzada Heroes de Chapultepec (Highway 45), before ending at the Quebradilla and Miguel Aleman intersection. The motorcade could draw large numbers of participants.
Police may deploy to monitor the demonstration and possibly enforce road closures to facilitate the action. Localized traffic disruptions are likely along the protest route.
