Officials have extended some measures with modifications through June 30 to curb the spread of COVID-19 activity. Authorities are no longer restricting flights between Wallis and Futuna; officials also do not require passengers to complete health checks. All students may go back to school. Public gatherings remain capped at 50 people. Religious services are allowed at 50-percent capacity. A facemask mandate and physical distancing requirements remain in effect for all public areas.

Authorities have reopened more nonessential businesses, including restaurants and bars, for outdoor seating only. Capacity remains limited to 50 percent at permitted businesses. Gyms and sporting activities remain prohibited.

Travel Restrictions
The border remains effectively closed as international commercial passenger flights and ships remain banned. However, officials permit flights from New Caledonia. Visitors from New Caledonia and resident French nationals can enter the territory with a travel certificate completed before boarding. Permitted travelers must undergo a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departure.
