Protests are possible in the regions of Bio-Bio and La Araucania April 4 following a Supreme Court decision expected to be handed down in the appeals case of Mapuche indigenous activists who were convicted of homicide. Protesters will likely block roads throughout the area; however, in Lebu, Bio-Bio Region, activists have occupied the municipal government building. Transport and business disruptions are likely during any demonstrations that may materialize.
