Emergency response is ongoing in the Itaewon after a stampede leaves at least 59 people dead and dozens of others injured during a Halloween event in Seoul late Oct. 29. Reports indicate that approximately 100,000 people participating in an event surged through a narrow street in the Itaewon area. Over 400 emergency responders have reportedly deployed to the site to assist the injured.
