Mali: Power outages planned in Bamako Nov. 16 due to scheduled maintenance
Utility provider plans to interrupt electrical supply in Bamako, Mali, Nov. 16, due to scheduled maintenance.

Mali's electrical utility provider Energie du Mali-SA (EDM-SA) plans to temporarily suspend power in parts of Bamako 09:00-15:00 Nov. 16. Affected areas of the city include Kalabancoura ACI, TFS (wireless), Niarela, Zone Hotel Plazza, Hotel Lilli, Dialakorodji, Banconi, and Hippodrome 1 and 2. The purpose of the outage is to allow for scheduled maintenance on the network.
Localized disruptions are possible in the affected areas around the city. Malfunctioning traffic signals could increase disruptions for ground transportation. The outages could extend beyond the estimated power restoration time.
