A security incident targeting a Sikh worship center in the Baghe Qazi area of Kabul ended as of 14:30 (local time) on Wednesday, March 25. According to the Ministry of Interior, the militants assaulted the center with small arms and suicide bombers, taking an estimated 40 people hostage in the Dharamshala along Shor Bazar Road. Local sources confirmed that at least 14 people have been killed and 21 others wounded. Security forces have cleared the area and killed all four attackers.

An IS-affiliated group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the Taliban have issued a statement denying involvement in the incident.
