At least 26 people were killed and 17 others wounded after a bus plummeted off a cliff in Béja province on Sunday, December 1. According to officials, the bus was en route from Tunis to Ain Draham when it veered off a winding road and crashed into a ravine. Local media reported that a car carrying one of the victims was struck by a train in Kef province on Monday, December 2, killing one.

Residual transportation disruptions are possible on the affected road along with an increased security and emergency response personnel presence.
