US: Operations resume at Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) March 18 /update 2

The airport tower, terminal, and concourses were evacuated after the quake hit the area at around 07:00. Associated disruptions, including flight delays, are possible at SLC through the rest of Wednesday.

Multiple aftershocks were reported following the initial earthquake, which caused minor damages to buildings in the greater Salt Lake City area. Around 70,000 residents lost power due to the quake, but service has been restored to almost all customers as of Wednesday afternoon.
