A political protest was reported in Abuja at approximately 13:30 (local time) on Thursday, March 19. Participants are reportedly demonstrating along Ibrahim Babangida Boulevard in Wuse 2. According to local sources, protesters are holding placards of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the demonstration. Clashes between opposing political groups cannot be ruled out.
