India: Inclement weather to affect northern, central, and eastern regions April 21-24

On Tuesday, April 21, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued orange weather alerts for the northern, central, and eastern states and union territories, forecasting heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The inclement weather is expected to hit the eastern territories on April 21, and Wednesday, April 22, and move towards the central and northern regions on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24. The orange weather alert will remain in effect for the eastern states of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura until April 23.
