Spain: Transportation strikes planned in Aviles December 16-31, January 5

The Aviles Electric Tram Company (CTEA) has scheduled several days of strikes in Aviles: Monday, December 16, Wednesday, December 18, Tuesday, December 24, Tuesday, December 31, and Sunday, January 5, 2020. Transportation employees have called the strike due to discrepancies and disagreements on the video surveillance systems installed on buses.

Public transportation interruptions are to be expected. Associated localized transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are expected in the vicinity of any associated protests.
