Nigeria: Rival groups clash in Benin City (Edo state) November 12

Rival groups have clashed in areas of Benin City (Edo state) on Thursday, November 12, with reports suggesting that at least two people may have been killed amid the violence. Clashes were reported in the Upper Sakponba and Siloko areas of the city. 

A heightened security presence is likely in the city in the near term. Further clashes are also possible and may lead to localized disruptions.
